Teens use social networking to interact with friends

More studies about the actual habits of teens online. Turns out that they go online to interact with their current friends, not to find new ones. This should help allay some fears about online predators. My experience is most people 14 and older know how to stay safe online. They use social networking for social interaction, which is what adolescents do, on or offline. Not saying there are no dangers, but let's base our concerns on actual data, and not sensationalistic "news" shows.
