As an educator fighting for student-directed learning, I'm a big fan of Alfie Kohn. Teachers in traditional classrooms have been acting in such contradiction to the research for so long.
If educators only take away only one idea from this video, I would hope it's the talk (at 14:10) about hypothesis testing rather than immediately trusting experience.
