PHP/MySQL Testbed (Henry's 3rd Blog Post)

Submitted by Henry on Sun, 05/18/2008 - 09:49.

PHP and MySQL require a server to be run. On the windows computer in my house, I have a free server called Apache running PHP as well as a MySQL server. Normally, you would need the IP address of that computer in order to access the server it's running, but I have found a site called no-ip.com, which gives you a free domain name, which redirects to your IP address. So, I have created "henrytestbed.no-ip.org", which currently is a pie factory webpage. No, you can't actually buy pies, and the order form isn't working right either. This site will be where all of my work is-whatever I'm working on-updated in real time. Enjoy!
